Pizzafari on Discovery Island in the Animal Kingdom is a great place for kids – a generic pizza and sugar-free Jello for dessert acting as a magnet for the little ones. Adults may want to stick with the more health conscious chicken Caesar salad or the flavorful Italian deli sandwich with a refreshing Safari Amber beer. Although there’s plenty of indoor seating in several rooms with brightly colored murals, outdoors is best with a shaded veranda that offers privacy away from the hustle and bustle of the dining rooms. While you’re enjoying the relative quietude it may be a good time to engage the family in a National Geographic moment by discussing ecology, different cultures, and endangered species.
