The Sci-Fi Dine-in Theatre in MGM Studios is modeled on the drive-in movie theaters first made popular in the 1950s; remember bobby sox, poodle skirts and teenage dates? You can take the whole family back in this Disney time machine to the rock ‘n’ roll era. It’s the most fun restaurant in MGM Studios – you can’t beat sitting in a ‘50s era car with a burger and milk shake watching clips from hilarious Sci-Fi movies like Ed Wood’s “Plan 9 From Outer Space” and “The Amazing Colossal Man.”
We always like to make up our own Sci-Fi movie titles while we’re there, like “The Attack of the 50ft Kermit” or “Pirates From Outer Space.”
